The purpose of the non-profit Cheer Gym Foundation, is to support our competitive teams, foster a good relationship between Cheer Gym’s staff and parents, provide community service opportunities to our cheerleaders and members, work as a liasion to develop an altruistic relationship within our community while providing fund raising opportunities for our members.   Each member will have an individual CGPF account. All of their fundraising money and deposited money will be kept in their individual account. The Foundation will use that money to pay for each member’s individual competition/travel expenses.     The filing cabinet is set up in the gym. The Foundation will offer monthly fundraisers that sell a product, such as cookie dough or pizza. A deadline and delivery date will be posted for each fundraiser. Orders must be handed in to the fundraising chairperson by this date. No deadlines will be extended. The Foundation may also sponsor fundraisers offering a service, such as a car wash or spaghetti dinner. You must volunteer for, and be present during this type of event in order to collect the proceeds How is the fundraising information distributed? Each cheerleader will have a file folder in a filing cabinet located in the gym area. This folder should be checked at each practice, as all Riptide papers and fundraising handouts will be put in these folders - No papers will be handed out.  CHECK YOUR FOLDERS!!!  We encourage all parents to get involved. Bring your ideas, comments and suggestions. And as always, teach your child basic safety rules when fundraising. Sell to friends, family, neighbors and business associates and never let your child fundraise door-to-door without adult supervision  Upcoming fundraisers and other important CGPF information will be posted in the gym.
